It is notable that in recent times that it has become increasingly difficult for those who are willing to stand up for honesty, truth and justice. Throughout history, the unwillingness of people to stand up for what is right has resulted in various negative impacts to our society. The increased importance of ego, greed and power have produced the many who are willing to turn their heads to corruption, discrimination and other ills. As I continue to fight for justice in the midst of unlawful discrimination to my company, I was made aware of the continued practice to cover up discrimination and other corrupt practices within the Michigan Department of Transportation (DOT).
Additional Civil Rights and EEO complaints have been filed which detail instances of an organization reeking with systemic attempts to conceal investigation results, retaliate against investigators and intimidate those who are willing to be honest and truthful about discrimination occurring within this organization. Instead, the practice is to “protect” those managers participating in wrongdoing and discriminatory practices and to also protect the (beneficiary) stakeholders who are willing to keep the secrets hidden.
The courageous are willing to Stand Up for what is right! Wrongdoing and abuses of power must be revealed.
